Powering a fossil fuel free future, for superyachts and beyond.

For use on Marine Vessels and Land Based

Unity Module

The Deployable Energy 1 MW factory-manufactured microreactors use 5% LEU fuel with no exotic components and are designed to deploy anywhere power is needed. Built to replace diesel, they’re scalable, shippable and incredibly efficient.

  • Fully modular. Fits in 20′ containers.
  • 1 MW/unit, suitable for vessels over 45 m.
  • Lifespan for land based applications: 8-10+ years of full power on land.
  • Lifespan for vessel installations: 10-20+ years depending on energy design.
  • Approval in Principle granted by Lloyd’s Register in 2025 for Nuclear Hybrid Humanitarian Vessel.
  • Procurement LOI formally signed in 2025 (2,500+ units for a land based solution).
  • Installation for land based applications available by 2029.
  • Installation of superyacht and maritime applications from 2030.

Why Nuclear?

Zero Greenhouse Gas Emissions: Nuclear.

Nuclear-powered vessels can operate without emitting greenhouse gases, contributing to decarbonisation efforts.

01

High Energy Density:

Nuclear reactors offer unmatched energy density, enabling long voyages without refueling.

02

Operational Efficiency:

Advanced reactor designs enhance safety and operational efficiency.

03

The Journey

Where we started and
where we are now

2021

NOxFree Team were formed after a client approached Derek Munro to design the first Nuclear Superyacht.

2022-2024

Feasibility study and thorough research & development were carried out leading the team to the Unity Module.

2025

NOxFree makes first public apprearance and attends Nuclear Forum’s and Seminars to share the exciting progression.

The Future

By 2030 we should see the first Unity Module being installed on a superyacht, With multiple design concepts for land and sea.

Deployable Energy is delivering nuclear power that's fast, affordable, and everywhere
it's needed.

Deployable Energy was founded in 2025 on a simple idea: nuclear energy should be a product, not a project. The modern US industrial base is built to manufacture products—repeatable, scalable systems that can be deployed quickly and affordably. We build aircraft at scale, not airports. Energy should be no different.
